Wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph are possible today, mainly for open areas west of the Mississippi River. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Additional thunderstorms are possible at times Saturday through Sunday night and periodically through next week. A few severe storms are possible late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening, especially from northeast Iowa through central Wisconsin.
