Precipitation associated with the next weather system will begin to spread into eastern North Dakota and the northwest quarter of Minnesota Friday morning, and could potentially linger across northwest Minnesota into Saturday morning. For areas along and north of the highway 200 corridor, 1 to 3 inches of snow is possible, while areas south of the highway 200 corridor should see an inch or less. To complicate matters, mixed precipitation is also possible, bringing a light glaze of ice with it. This would affect the Friday morning and evening commutes. If planning travel, make sure to check the latest forecast and road conditions before heading out. $$
