The grassland fire danger will remain low today as snow cover will affect most of the area. Temperatures will be warming up but relative humidity values will remain high as the area continues to see snow melt. Fire danger will increase to moderate levels across parts of central South Dakota on Friday as little to no snow cover will exist in these areas. A couple of disturbances will increase chances for precipitation later this week. The first system will move through late tonight and Friday and the second system moves through the region this weekend.
